Man arrested after allegedly threatening mass shooting at Steelers-Jaguars game
PITTSBURGH (WGME) -- The FBI says a Texas man was planning a mass shooting at Sunday's Steelers-Jaguars playoff game.
Officials identified 40-year-old Yuttana Choochongkol as the suspect.
According to an affidavit, he sent threats last week to a local Pittsburgh CBS stationand to the website for Heinz Stadium, where the game was played.
The affidavit shows one of the statements said the suspect planned to kill Steelers players and fans before taking his own life.
The suspect was charged Friday with making a terrorist threat, which is a felony.
He was released from a Texas jail on Saturday.
