EAST BRIDGEWATER (WGME) -- Four high school students in Massachusetts were killed and fifth was injured in a car crash on Saturday in East Bridgewater.
The teens have been identified as students from Stoughton High School.
They were all 16 or 17-years-old.
Officials say they had just left a birthday party when they slammed into a tree around 4:30 p.m.
WBZ-TV reports three teenage boys died at the scene and a fourth at the hospital.
At last check, the 17-year-old driver was being treated for injuries at a hospital.
The mother of one of the victims told WBZ-TV the boys shared a special bond and were always together.
Teammates and classmates say the teens would want people to stay positive.
Investigators say they are looking at all potential factors in the crash, including speed and weather.
