BOOTHBAY HARBOR(WGME) – The world's largest Viking ship replica is docking in Boothbay Harbor.
It's the ship's first official stop on its east coast tour.
The ship, called the Draken, will be in Maine all weekend and is the perfect opportunity for folks to engage the modern-day Viking spirit.
The Draken is 115 feet from stem to stern.
It is 26 feet wide, with 260 square meters of silk sail and a 79-foot tall mast made from Douglas fir.
Those visiting Boothbay Harbor this weekend will get a chance to go on board.
Tours cost $6 for kids, $12 for adults and it's $30 for a family pack.
After this weekend, the ship and crew will leave Maine for Plymouth, Massachusetts, but will return to Rockland at the end of the month.
