Women hurt in New Gloucester crash

NEW GLOUCESTER (WGME) -- Two women were hurt in a crash in New Gloucester.

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office says it happened around 11:30 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Bald Hill Road and Ricker Road.

They say the driver of an SUV stopped at a stop sign and then drove into the intersection, hitting another SUV.

Two passengers in the second SUV were hurt and were brought to the hospital.

There is no word yet on the extent of their injuries or any charges.
