WOODSTOCK (WGME) – A winter wonderland constructed entirely from icicles opened up Friday in New Hampshire.

The massive, intricate display is built by the Utah-based company "Ice Castles."

This year's display is in Woodstock, not Lincoln.

It includes fountains, arch-ways and a 100-foot ice slide.

Workers got started on the project back in October, working with varying weather conditions to build their creation.

"It's been fluctuating quite a bit, you had snow and rain,” Ice Castles Build Manager Tayler Christensen said. “We've been getting a lot of unexpected rain here and there. So, five degrees too warm, five degrees too cold can make a big difference for us."

Organizers hope to keep the ice castles open until early March, depending on weather conditions.
