State police identify victim in Cherryfield homicide
CHERRYFIELD (WGME) -- State police have identified a homicide victim, found dead on the side of the road in Downeast Maine.
They say someone discovered the body of Sally Shaw, earlier this week in Cherryfield.
They say the 55-year-old worked as a certified nurse’s aide, and had ties to the area, but may have lived in the southern part of the state.
They also say a vehicle connected to her death was rented from a business in Bangor under Shaw's name.
Police say they do not have a suspect in this case.
Officials are now asking anyone who knew Shaw, or had contact with her, to call them.
