Powerful nor'easter dumps at least 24 inches of snow on Sanford

Snow in Sanford Wednesday (Steve St. Pierre)

SANFORD (WGME) -- Southern York County was the jackpot area for the storm.

Sanford got two-feet of snow.

Overall, the city has had more than four-feet of snow fall in the past few weeks with our string of nor'easters.

While the roads weren't too bad in the Sanford area Wednesday morning, parking lots and sidewalks were still buried

And with the snow still piling up many are wondering where they’re going to put it.

"They can't keep up with it. That's what it is. You figure three storms in what? Two weeks,” Debra Bernier, Sanford resident, said.

Sanford schools had a two-hour delay Wednesday morning.
