WESTBROOK (WGME) -- The Westbrook ice disk may have stopped spinning but folks across the area are still coming to check out the natural phenomenon.
The 300-foot ice disk formed in the Presumpscot River last week.
It has drawn hundreds of people to the area to check it out and take pictures.
“With the warm weather, I thought it might be melting and it might be my last chance to see what the phenomenon is all about, so yeah, I decided to come out,” Gray resident Terry Lacarrubba said.
Folks are hoping the ice disk starts spinning again.
