Nine arrested in Rumford-Mexico area drug bust

The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency says nine people were arrested in the Rumford-Mexico area Monday, charged with drug trafficking and probation violations. (Maine DEA)

MEXICO (WGME) The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency says nine people were arrested in the Rumford-Mexico area Monday, charged with drug trafficking and probation violations.

Police say they seized oxycodone, cocaine and heroin.

Among those arrested were:

  • Kassandra Bryant (26) of Mexico, Maine, (1) Trafficking Schedule W Drugs -Cocaine Base (Class A), (2) Failure to appear in court warrant
  • Wayne “Dog” Sinclair (59) of Mexico, Maine, (1) Aggravated Trafficking Schedule W Drugs -Cocaine Base (Class A), (2) Aggravated Trafficking Schedule W Drugs -Methamphetamine (Class A)
  • Mickiel James (30) of Dorchester, Massachusetts, (1) Trafficking Schedule W Drugs - Cocaine Base (Class B), (2) Trafficking Schedule W Drugs - Oxycodone (Class A)
  • Scott Bousquet, (30) of Rumford, Maine, (1) Aggravated Trafficking Schedule W Drugs - Oxycodone (Class A)
  • James Foss (38) of Mexico, Maine, (1) Aggravated Trafficking Schedule W Drugs -Cocaine Base (Class A), (2) Aggravated Trafficking Schedule W Drugs -Methamphetamine (Class A), (3) Violation of Bail Condition (2 Counts)
  • Tymel Albritton (19) of Brooklyn, New York, (1) Trafficking Schedule W Drugs -Cocaine Base (Class B), (2) Aggravated Trafficking Schedule W Drugs -Heroin (Class A)
  • Louise Lucci (40) of Rumford, Maine, (1) 2 Counts - Trafficking Schedule W Drugs -Cocaine Base (Class B)
  • Sara Paquette (27) of Rumford, Maine, (1) Probation Violation
  • Elizabeth Ross (37) of Wilton, Maine, (1) Probation Violation

Police say they seized cocaine and heroin pre-packaged for distribution, 800 Oxycodone pills, scales and $20,000 in suspected drug money. The street value of the seized drugs is $35,000.

All nine arrested were transported to the Oxford County Jail.

Bail was denied for Bryant, Sinclair, Foss, Bousquet and Lucci pending their initial appearance.

Bail was set at $10,000 cash on Albritton and $25,000 cash on James.

A probation hold was ordered for Paquette and Ross.

Suspects are expected to make their initial court appearance on November 7.
