WOLFBORO, NH (WGME) -- New details have been released after an alleged puppy mill was discovered inside a New Hampshire mansion.

Police arrested Christina Fay of Wolfeboro last week and charged her with animal neglect.

Court documents say a 16-year-old employee of Fay's alerted authorities of the conditions the dogs were living in.

Officials removed 84 Great Danes from the home, which officials say was covered in raw chicken parts, animal waste and maggots.

They say there was also a room covered in blood from the dog's open wounds.

Fay's worker told authorities she witnessed her staple a dog's wound shut after a fight.

Officials also alleged some of the dog's paw pads were completely missing and several had a highly contagious virus.

Fay is free on bail and is scheduled for her next court appearance in August.
