TEMPLE (Sun Journal) -- A man suffered head injuries Monday when he lost control of his ATV on Forest Hill Road in Temple and it rolled into a ditch and landed on him, Franklin County Chief Deputy Steven Lowell said.

Erald Farmer, 69, of Temple, was driving an Arctic Cat four-wheeler with attached trailer when the accident occurred at about 12:03 p.m. at the intersection of Varnum Pond Road, Lowell said.

A citizen came to his rescue.
