LEWISTON (WGME) -- Lewiston police say at least two men broke into an apartment Wednesday night and threatened the tenants with a gun before stealing marijuana.

One of the suspects has been arrested, according to police.

It happened at 64 Oxford Street around 10 p.m.

Police say the men broke into the apartment and threatened the tenants with a gun before stealing marijuana and fleeing the scene.

Police say the suspects fled in a vehicle but crashed and ran away on foot.

One of the suspects was later arrested.

Police charged 29-year-old Dominique Bailey, of Lewiston, with robbery, burglary, theft, and a probation hold.

He was taken to the Androscoggin County Jail where he is being held without bail.

At this time, Lewiston police believed this was an isolated incident with an intended target rather than a random act.

Police are seeking witnesses and asking anyone with additional information to contact Detective Joey Brown at (207) 513-3001 ext. 3322 or the Lewiston Police Department at (207) 513-3001 or dispatch at (207) 784-6421.
