Lisbon Falls man arrested after topping 120 mph in police chase
TOPSHAM (WGME) -- A Lisbon Falls man is behind bars after he led police on a high speed chase from Topsham to Richmond early Saturday morning.
Police said Adam Call, 20, faces several charges after the chase, which started shortly after 12:30 a.m. Saturday on Main Street, which is Route 201, in Topsham.
The 16-mile chase ended after Call abandoned his car on Route 201 in Richmond after police said he passed two roadblocks and had two of his tires deflated by a spike mat deployed by Richmond police.
Speeds in the police chase reached above 120 miles per hour, according to police.
Call was captured by a Topsham police officer and a Sagadahoc County Sheriff's deputy after a foot pursuit.
Call is at the Two Bridges Regional jail on $2,500 cash bail on the following charges: operating under the influence, operating after suspension, passing a roadblock, eluding an officer, criminal speed, reckless conduct, failure to give correct name to a police officer, failure to submit to arrest/detention and attaching false plates.
