CLINTON (WGME) -- A scuffle between two relatives led to a stabbing and police dog chase in Clinton Saturday afternoon, with a male juvenile under arrest.

Clinton police said the juvenile and an adult family member got involved in a fight at 1363 Hinckley Road before 1 p.m. Saturday.

Police said the adult male suffered a superficial stab wound, was treated on the scene and not taken to a hospital.

The male juvenile ran off into the woods. A Maine State Police K-9 joined the search, and within a little more than half an hour he was in custody.

Police said the juvenile, who was cooperative when found by police, will be transported to the Long Creek Youth Development Center in South Portland on a juvenile aggravated assault charge.

No one else inside the home witnessed the fight, police said.
