AUGUSTA (WGME) -- Governor Paul LePage says the Trump administration reached out to him about a job.

Appearing on Fox News last weekend, LePage says the president "made some overtures" but says the job wouldn't involve a cabinet-level position.

However, the governor says there's nothing concrete at this time.

LePage says he plans to take some time off as he explores his options once he leaves office in January.
