Exeter man charged with stealing girl’s underwear, leaving pornographic photos

EXETER (BDN) -- A Exeter man has been arrested for allegedly breaking into a girl’s home, stealing her underwear and leaving adult pornographic photographs in her bedroom, toy box and dresser drawers, according to the Penobscot County district attorney’s office.

Jason Robinson, 28, is being held at the Penobscot County Jail.

He is charged with one count of burglary, two counts each of sexual misconduct with a child under the age of 12 and theft by unauthorized taking.

Robinson is scheduled to appear before a judge at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Penobscot Judicial Center by video conference from the jail.

The case is being investigated by the Maine State Police and the Penobscot County sheriff’s office.

If convicted, Robinson faces up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $20,000.
