'Dee Money' sentenced to life in prison
PORTLAND (WGME) -- A New York man has been sentenced to life in prison for killing a Manchester couple on Christmas Day.
Thirty-two-year-old David Marble was convicted of shooting and killing Eric Williams and Bonnie Royer outside Augusta.
In 2015, prosecutors say Marble shot both victims in the head because he thought Williams had stolen from him.
Marble's nickname, "Dee Money," was used by Republican Governor Paul LePage in highly publicized comments about out-of-state drug dealers.
