STATEWIDE (WGME) -- We are beginning the second full week of February cold and sunny, but that won’t last as the region’s next round of snow is set to arrive tomorrow night.
A Winter Storm Watch will become active for Maine at 4 p.m. tomorrow afternoon and remain in effect until 6 pm Wednesday night. Snow amounts will vary, with areas on the coast seeing 6-10 inches, and inland communities 8-12 inches.
Snow is expected to be heaviest overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, with the storm tapering off Wednesday afternoon. Be prepared for a difficult commute Wednesday morning.
