Candlelight vigil to be held in Portland for Las Vegas shooting victims

PORTLAND (WGME) -- The public is invited to a candlelight vigil in Portland for the victims of the Las Vegas mass shooting.

"We are heartbroken to learn about the devastating loss of life and suffering in Las Vegas. We are coming together as Mainers to lift each other up and to send love and prayers to victims of the Las Vegas terrorist shooting. We must do whatever we can to support each other,ā€ Organizer Hamdia Ahmed said.

It will be on the steps of Portland City Hall from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
