2 killed, 3 seriously injured in NH crash

A crash in Littleton, New Hampshire that killed two people and hurt several others is under investigation. (New Hampshire State Police)

LITTLETON, NH (WGME) -- A crash in Littleton, New Hampshire that killed two people and hurt several others is under investigation.

Police say early Monday morning 60-year-old Doresa Harrell from Georgia was making a U-turn on Route 18 when she was hit by another car, driven by 23-year-old Richard Maker.

A passenger in Maker's car,19-year-old Brodie Leavitt, died at the scene.

Maker and a second passenger, a juvenile, were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

A passenger in Harrell’s vehicle was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police say Harrell later died at the hospital.
