Shaw's reaching out to customers affected by data breach
PORTLAND (WGME) -- Shaw's Supermarkets says it will work with customers who believe they were affected by a data breach the parent company says potentially put customers' bank and credit card information at risk of being hacked into.
The breach has impacted Shaw's and Star Markets across New England, including Maine.
Shaw's says it will offer a year of identity protection to all affected customers, and has established a toll-free hotline where customers can reach out.
