Two New Hampshire police officers are fired for brutality
SEABROOK, NH (WGME) -- Two New Hampshire police officers are fired for brutality.
It all stems from a video of a 2009 arrest that shows the officers slamming a DWI suspect into a concrete wall.
Seabrook officers Mark Richardson and Adam Laurent were fired Wednesday.
A third officer was suspended without pay for 2-days.
While a fourth, a lieutenant who was supervising that night was demoted to patrolman.
The surveillance video was posted by the victim, Michael Bergeron, Junior, in January of this year.
Bergeron, who was 19 at the time, says the incident left him with lump on the back of his head, chipped teeth, and permanent brain injuries.
