Amos Johnson sentenced to five years in prison for molesting a young girl
HARPSWELL (WGME) -- A Harpswell man is sentenced to five years in prison for molesting a young girl.
A judge sentenced Amos Johnson, 39, to five and a half years in jail and 17 years of probation after he plead guilty to two counts of gross sexual assault.
Prosecutors say Johnson began molesting the girl when she was 11-years-old in 2011 and continued for the next two years.
As part of the plea deal, 30 additional counts were dismissed.
