UMaine Board of Trustees approves five year plan
ORONO (WGME) -- The UMaine Board of Trustees approves a five year plan for all seven of its universities in Maine.
The plan calls for more streamlining of classes on all its campuses, including the University of Southern Maine.
The plan is for each campus to offer certain specialties specifically for those campuses.
Trustees are also calling for more belt tightening to close a projected 69 million dollar deficit over the next five years.
