Bath's Heritage Days Parade Thrills Crowd, Honors Veterans
BATH (WGME) -- Mother Nature was a welcome no-show at the Bath Heritage Days Parade on Friday. Scores of parade-goers lined the streets and watched the mile-and-a-half-long parade, which honored veterans and the country's independence. For veterans who were there to watch and pay tribute, it was an emotional but happy sight.
"I feel pride. I feel a commraderie with them because I served. they served. we all did our part," said Army Veteran William Ingraham.
Heritage Days runs through the weekend, and ends with the Kennebec River Boat Parade and fireworks Sunday night.
