NH man, victim of alleged police brutality, convicted of burglary
SEABROOK, NH (WGME) -- His treatment after a 2009 arrest sparked a police brutality investigation, now, Michael Bergeron junior stands convicted of felony burglary.
You may recall a surveillance video that shows Seabrook officer Mark Richardson slamming Bergeron against a wall inside the police station after an OUI arrest.
Richard was indicted this month in connection with that incident. He faces simple assault charges.
Meanwhile, Bergeron faces up to seven years in prison for burglarizing a Hampton townhouse in August of last year. He was convicted last week. He'll be sentenced June 9th.
