Family offers reward for PA highway shooting information

POLAND (WGME) -- The family of a Maine man shot and killed on a Pennsylvania highway is adding to the reward offered for information leading to the person or people responsible for his death

Timothy Davison, 28, was travelling home from Florida to Maine when he was run off the road. He was then shot and killed on the side of the highway.

Police say the suspect or suspects were in a blue Ford Ranger pickup truck, and that Davison did nothing to provoke them. His family is offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.

That's on top of another $10,000 offered by the state of Pennsylvania.

"I want people to come forward with any small tip, that's the biggest thing if they saw a bumper sticker on a vehicle, or thought it was a drunk driver that was off the road where really it was my son who had been pushed off the road. Those are the kind of things that people need to be aware of," said Timothys mother Theresa Allocca.

Earlier this week, police did release a portion of the 9-1-1 phone call Davison made right before he was shot and killed.

There have been no arrests or suspects in the case.
