Dan Lampariello made his journey back to New England to join the talented WGME CBS 13 team as a multimedia in June 2016.
He spent the past two years down south as a reporter and anchor for WBBJ-TV in Jackson, TN. While in West Tennessee, Dan worked extensively as a nightside breaking news reporter covering stories like the discovery of Holly Bobo's remains to the disappearance of 3 year-old Noah Chamberlin.
Dan grew up in the small town of Dracut, Massachusetts just north of Boston. He graduated from Suffolk University in 2014.
While at Suffolk, he was part of the University's award winning news team "Suffolk U News", covering many hard hitting stories, including the 2013 Boston Marathon Bombings. While reporting on Boylston Street during the marathon, Dan captured one of the most iconic photos to come out of the tragic events.
While in college and living in Boston, Dan also worked for a number of other news agencies including NECN, WHDH-TV, and Boston Magazine.
When he's not working, Dan tries to take advantage of everything New England has to offer like skiing and hiking. He's also a die hard Red Sox and Bruins fan!
