Amanda Jellig joined the WGME Weather team in 2014 and prior she was the Morning Meteorologist at KNOE in Monroe, Louisiana. Before living in the Pelican State she was the Weekend Meteorologist at WMDT in Salisbury, MD.
Amanda obtained her degree in Meteorology from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, FL. While in school she worked in the student run TV Weather Studio and was a member of the campus television program, Eaglecast.
Originally Amanda is from Huntington, New York and after countless seasons of rumbling thunder and being buried in snow, her love for weather grew fast. In Amanda's free time you can catch her playing with her dog Addison, at the gym, or just enjoying the outdoors!
