A vintage world war two plane that crashed in the New York area Friday has been recovered from the Hudson River.
A large crane aboard the army corps of engineers vessel was used to pull the wreckage out of the water. The plane will now be handed over to the FAA and it will conduct a full investigation of the crash.
New York police said the body of 56-year-old William Gordon of Key west,Florida was recovered near the plane Friday.
