New Jersey man allegedly goes 139 mph on I-95
SIDNEY (WGME) -- A man from New Jersey is doing far more than just paying a fine for allegedly speeding in Maine.
State police say 64-year-old Sang Yook is spending 48 hours in jail for going 139 miles an hour on I-95.
Police say Yook told them he was trying to get away from someone riding "right on his tail," and he later refused to get back in his car while asking police to cut him some slack.
He later pleaded guilty to criminal speeding and was sentenced to a fine and jail time.
