Man pays for 59 customers' orders in Yarmouth for lives lost in Las Vegas
YARMOUTH (WGME) -- A customer at a Yarmouth bakery paid for the meals of 59 customers on Saturday - one for every life lost in the mass shooting in Las Vegas.
The owner of Maple's Bakery, Robin Ray, says she heard commotion and that people were taken aback.
"He wanted to pay for 59 people in line after him," Ray said. "He wanted to be an inspiration to people in a time that doesn't feel good."
The customer didn't want to be identified.
"Those are the kinds of people that we have come in here, and anyone can be that kind of person," Ray said.
