Greely High School students participate in a senior walk.

CUMERLAND (WGME) -- It was a day of reflection and congratulations for graduating seniors at Greely High School.

On Friday, Greely's class of 2016 took part in the annual senior walk.

The seniors walked the hallways of Greely Middle School and the Wilson School, both schools they once attended.

The future graduates, wore their caps and gowns, while the halls were lined with teachers and students who were there to wish them the luck.

"A lot of teachers that I've had, it was great , even though it was just a moment, it was still great to be able to make eye contact with them and to connect for a few seconds," says Jacob Small, Greely High School senior.

"We're all proud of the seniors and we're all proud of our graduates . We're proud of all of our students and this is a way of showing that and expressing it and being part of an entire community," says Jeff Porter, Superintendent, MSAD 51.

Greely High School graduation ceremonies take place on Sunday, June 5th at 1:30pm.

Congratulations to all the graduates.
