Court documents reveal new details about Portland murder
PORTLAND (WGME) -- Unsealed court documents in an unsolved Portland murder reveal what the alleged killer did after he fired off multiple rounds into a Gilman Street apartment.
The court documents indicate a number of people were in 88 Gilman Street when the murder happened back in March.
Police are still investigating the death of 37-year-old David Anderson, also known as Shycago.
According to the unsealed paper work, the murder suspect is seen entering the apartment building through the Gilman Street lobby in surveillance footage.
35 seconds later, the suspect is on the third floor, pulls out a gun and fires several shots into the door of apartment 305.
The male suspect then picked up the shell casings off the floor, fired another round, picked up that casing and left.
The suspect was last seen going north on Gilman Street and he appeared to have a gun in his hand.
Police don't believe the murder was random, and that the person who killed Anderson went to the apartment to commit a violent act.
At this point, police have not made any arrests in this case.
They are looking for a light-skinned man, about six feet tall with a medium build.
Call police if you have any information.
