Brunswick woman creates system to help protect your property
BRUNSWICK (WGME) -- A Brunswick dispatcher is the brain behind a new system, which helps authorities contact you in case of a crime or emergency.
It's called Uivo, and its creator says it's a secure personal property identification system.
For it to work, you have to register in the system.
Then you get a sticker with a number on it.
Public safety officials can then run that number, find your contact information, and tell you about an emergency involving your property.
It can also help you get back valuable items you may have lost.
Your information can only be accessed by public safety officials.
The Uivo system will be demonstrated at its launch party, that's November 3rd at the Sea Dog Brewing Company in Topsham.
