Raw News: Interview with Lewiston arson suspect
LEWISTON (WGME) -- Lewiston's third major fire is ruled arson and two men are in custody.
Police held a press conference Friday night in Lewiston. They announced the arrests of 23-year-old Bryan Wood, of 131 Barlett St., and 29-year-old Brian Morin, 29, a transient.
Officers say the two men intentionally started a fire that burned two vacant apartment buildings on Bartlett Street Monday morning.
CBS 13 spoke with Brian Morin on Monday just hours after the fire. Morin says his roommate told police he was the one that started the fire. Morin denied those claims.
Both men are facing three counts of arson and are in the Androscoggin County Jail.
Police say Morin had been living with Wood recently.
They will make their first court appearance early next week.Monday, May 13 2013, 06:40 PM EDT
