Homework/ Curb Appeal

Homework/ Curb Appeal story image
WINDHAM (WPFO) -- When it comes to your home, you really want some curb appeal.

In this week's homework, a local expert helps us build a walkway right to the front door.

1. First pro Jarod Hall says you need to look up and make sure you can keep water away from the area of your walkway.

2.  Get our your shovel and dig the hole where you are going to put your walkway.

3. Make sure it's level after putting down gravel and filter fabric.

4. After you put some sand dust down, you start to put your stones in place.  Hall says pavers are the easiest.

5. After putting your stones in place and making sure then are level and compact, fill the spaces between the stones with concrete sand.

6. You sweep, lightly spray it, let your walkway sit for twelve to twenty four hours and then it's ready to be walked on.
