The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help in tracking down 22-year-old Laura Ann Thurlow, last known to be in the North Yarmouth area.  She is wanted on domestic violence and criminal mischief charges.

“Yes, domestic violence is very serious in Maine,” said Sheriff Kevin Joyce. “And this is a different case in that typically we're charging the male. They're the primary aggressor. In this case, the primary aggressor is a female.”

And in this case, Thurlow is accused of doing it twice, with two different men, about a year apart.

Once in North Yarmouth, and once in Harrison. Neither case involved a weapon, police say, just violence and they believe she is somewhere in Cumberland County right now.

“She's been involved in two domestic violence (cases) with men,” said sheriff Joyce. “One domestic violence (case) is a concern. Two is definitely a concern, because that's showing a pattern. And we're trying to break the cycle.”

Thurlow is about 5’4” tall, 110 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.  She was last known to be in the North Yarmouth area.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office 24-hour, toll-free tip-line at 800-266-1444 x2208.
