PORTLAND PIRATES NEGOTIATIONS
- The Cumberland County Civic Center Sports Committee is meeting to take up the Pirates' lease negotiations
- According to our media partners at the Portland Press Herald, Pirates CEO Brian Petrovek and Civic Center Board of Trustees Chairman Neal Pratt met for ninety minutes earlier this week
- Petrovek has been offered a new deal to move the team to Albany, NY
- Both sides hope the decision will be made sooner rather than later
